Free Avalanche Search Clinics

In partnership with Yösmark Backcountry Tours, TBCA hosts a series of three free avalanche search clinics each winter, open to the public and designed to build and refine  rescue skills.

These progressive clinics range from introductory single-beacon search sessions to advanced multi-burial scenarios and scene management. Whether you're new to backcountry rescue or looking to sharpen your skills, these clinics offer valuable hands-on practice in a low-pressure learning environment.

All sessions take place at the TBCA Beacon Park at Coal Creek. Our goal is to empower the community to be better prepared, more confident, and safer in the backcountry.
